5-Day Chaoshan Itinerary: The Complete Version

Day 1 — Shantou
Arrive, Xiaogongyuan old town, beef hotpot dinner.
Day 2 — Chaozhou, in depth

Bridge, lighthouses, ring road viewpoints, fishing-village lunch, Qing'ao Bay afternoon. Sleep on the island.

FAQ
Is 5 days too long for Chaoshan?
Only if you rush everywhere. At this pace, day 5 is when most guests say they finally feel the place.
What if it rains on the island day?
Swap Day 3 and Day 4 — that is the advantage of a private, flexible route.
