We are a small team of Chaoshan locals — planners, drivers, guides and researchers who grew up on these streets.
We started Chaoshan Travel because we kept meeting overseas visitors — including families searching for their roots — who experienced the region through generic tours that missed everything that makes it special.
How we work. Every trip is designed by one planner who stays with you from first message to farewell. We book through a partner licensed travel agency, so contracts and payments are proper and protected. On the ground, it is just us — your driver, your guide, your tea connection, your village contact.
What we believe. Honest advice beats a quick sale. If three days is enough, we will not sell you five. If a famous restaurant is not worth it anymore, we will take you to the one that is.
