Roots Journey

A journey built around your family clues: village research, clan halls, genealogy records and a guided homecoming.

Who is this for

Overseas Chaoshan families who know a surname, a village name, an old address — or only a story.

How it works

1. You share what you know: names, characters, letters, photos.

2. We organize the clues and do preliminary research.

3. Where needed, we verify on the ground — villages, clan halls, local records.

4. We design a route home and accompany you there.

Honest promise

We do not guarantee findings. We guarantee careful, documented, respectful work — and a meaningful journey either way.

Includes

Research coordination, translation, local verification visits, private car and guide for the homecoming days.

What is the best time of year to visit?

October to April offers the most comfortable weather. Chinese New Year is peak season for Yingge dance and festival atmosphere, but book early. Summer is hot — good for Nan'ao Island.
